REBOOT First Responders to begin on July 8 at the PERC

For many first responders, the stress doesn’t end when the siren goes silent. Too often, the first to respond to the needs of others are the last to seek help for themselves following a traumatic event. REBOOT First Responders is a 12-week faith-based first responder trauma healing course that specifically addresses the critical incident stress and trauma faced by those in the law enforcement, firefighter, EMS, 911 communications, hospital emergency staff, and corrections communities. THE COURSE IS FREE... REGISTER ONLINE OR CONTACT TOM KLEIN FOR MORE INFORMATION AT 315.209.7254...

out of the depths on the longest night

“Out of the depths to Thee I raise the voice of lamentation / Lord, turn a gracious ear to me and hear my supplication.”

Not all Christmases are white…  some are blue…

Blue christmas

When it seems like the whole world is awash in lights, celebration, friends, and family, many among us feel a sense of loss, grief, and disconnect.  Join us as we reflect on the meaning of living through dark times, holding out for healing and hope.

At 7pm on Friday, December 21st at the PERC, we will have a meditative service on the longest night, the night of the winter solstice.  We will remind each other of Jesus’ promise, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

“What though I wait the live-long night, and till the dawn appeareth / My heart still trusteth in God’s might; it doubteth not nor feareth.”
